About me

Hi, I'm Teah, and by now I'm sure you get the gist that I'm a photographer. I'm an introvert at heart, a big stand up comedy fan and I think I'm pretty good at cooking too(subjective of course).

I picked up my first camera back in 2019, I lived in the city at the time, so I started out doing street photography, and quickly became obsessed. A few months after that I got into wedding photography and knew this was something that I wanted to do forever.

Covid happened, and then life happened, kids and everything in between , so I took a step back from professional photography for a bit, but knew I'd start Lady of the Lens when I was ready(fun fact, I came up with the name Lady of the Lens and made my logo like 5 years ago).

I love capturing memories that people can look back on for the rest of their life, the emotional fulfilment from that is crazy.

I often have people tell me that they don't know what to do in front of the camera, and they are my favourite people!

I love capturing the realness that unfolds in those imperfect moments when the kids are running around like crazy, or we just end up going too hard on the dad jokes and everyone is in tears laughing.

My style comes down to a few key things done well, which is making people feel comfortable(priority number one), giving people things to do aka walking, making them laugh, dancing(my favourite) and giving subtle direction when we go for more posed shots to achieve a candid look.
